Role and Contribution:

I worked as the lead Graphic Designer, handling the process from ideation to the final execution. I was responsible for defining the color palette and ensuring the logo’s versatility for use across various formats, both digital and print.

Creative Process:

  • Research and Analysis: We began by discussing with the client to better understand her profession and the messages she wanted to convey. She was looking for a logo that was professional yet warm and welcoming.
  • Sketches: I developed a series of sketches inspired by color psychology and shapes that evoke security and balance.
  • Color Proposal: We chose a color palette based on soothing tones like light blue, green, and orange, colors that evoke calmness, balance, and openness.
  • Typography Development: The sans-serif font was selected for its readability and modern feel, while maintaining an accessible and professional appearance.

Concept Keywords for Logo Design:

These keywords gave shape to the first embryonic ideas that embodies Lucia Sartori's mission to support personal growth.
  • Key: Symbolizes discovery and the search for answers.
  • Greek Phi: Connects mind and soul, reinforcing the brand.
  • Mirror of the Soul: Suggests introspection and self-discovery.
  • Head: Represents rationality and mental processes.

Colors Palette:

The logo’s color palette is a thoughtful combination of soft green, calming blue, and vibrant yellow, symbolizing growth, trust, and optimism—values central to Lucia Sartori’s approach to psychotherapy. The subtle pink accent adds a touch of warmth and empathy, creating a sense of openness and reassurance for potential clients. Together, these colors convey both professionalism and approachability, making the logo memorable and aligned with the psychologist’s brand identity.

Final Outcome:

The final logo combines soft geometric shapes, similar to petals, that together form a symbol representing both psychological balance and professional support. The chosen colors evoke tranquility, growth, and warmth, with a small pink detail that adds a touch of delicacy.

Feedback and Results:

Lucia Sartori was thrilled with the result, stating that the new logo perfectly reflects her professional philosophy and that her patients immediately noticed the new professional image. The logo has been used on business cards, the website, billboards, and informational material distributed to patients.

Challenges Faced:

One of the main challenges was to find a design that communicated professionalism without appearing too cold or distant. This was resolved by using soft shapes and warm colors.

Personal Reflection:

This project gave me the opportunity to explore the empathetic side of design. Creating a visual identity for such a delicate profession as psychotherapy was very stimulating. I learned how important it is to find the right balance between professionalism and humanity in visual design.
